Qí Lái Shān Oolong
Dry leaves are a bright green, and have a slight smell of green beans. This tea brews up a beautiful, crystal clear bright yellow. The tea liquor smells of vegetables, and high mountain forest. The flavor is vegetal - specifically green beans - and has the unique forest flavor that can only be found in very high mountain Oolongs; the flavor is refreshing, but also strong. The aftertaste is where this tea really shines. The aftertaste is as powerful, as it is long lasting. It builds up over many minutes, and takes even longer to slowly fade away. Subsequent rounds of brewing enhances the sweetness of this tea, but still retain a strong mountain flavor; the vegetal notes become less prominent over time.
